Contained in a compact, weatherproof enclosure, the Parking Sentry System is an integrated pump, reservoir and controller package that applies liquid chemical anti-icing agents to any surface. This fixed, microprocessor-based system monitors pavement conditions and controls the delivery of the anti-icing agents. It is comprised of several sub assemblies that include: an atmospheric and surface sensor interface hardware and software, remote video imaging, liquid delivery system, and a Windows-based graphical user interface. Sensors monitor site conditions continuously and issue an alert when conditions for icing are imminent. This unit can be programmed to operate automatically, manually by local push button, or by remote control via telephone.
