The Asphalt Zipper model AZ 240 is designed for small trenching, street patching, and asphalt repair jobs. It has its own 73 horsepower, air-cooled diesel engine. With a weight of 2,400-lb., it attaches to the bucket or toolbar of a skid steer loader. It is capable of milling up to 8 in. deep and will mill as much as 20 ft. per minute. It has a 24-in. side shift as well as a 15° angle capability enabling it to mill right up to the curb and do sloping. The machine comes standard with either a 24-in. mandrel or an 18-in. mandrel. A 12-in. mandrel can be special ordered.
