Perma Pure Inc.r high particulate load applications, the FB-series bypass filters are inertial separation filters. The filters are designed to increase the life and performance of particulate and coalescing filters when used upstream of fine particulate filters. Two filters are available: FB-625 and FB-1000. Each unit features inertial particle filtration, a small sample dead volume, a sintered or mesh filter element, a 750 psig pressure rating, and a clean-able filter element. Heated filters are also available. The 316 stainless steel construction allows the system to be used in high-velocity, particulate-laden bypass streams. The high-velocity flow continuously flushes the filter element, reducing pore clogging. Units can be used for sample flows of up to 10 liters per minute and higher.
