Dissolved Air Flotation

Hi-Tech Environmental, Inc.ed Air Flotation is a liquid solid separation process using water and air bubbles to separate solids from liquid. This product is designed for use in the food processing/provider and oily waste industries. The unit features full pressurization or recycle and partial pressurization, and a float removal system.

The unit's air control panel contains a pressure regulator with condensate trap, air regulating rotometer, air control valves, check valve, and automatic solenoid shut-off valve. All flotation cells are fitted with a minimum of four skimmer arms to assure effective removal of the floating material. The surface skimmers, center torque tube, and lower sludge scraper arms are driven by cast iron drive units.
