The Hydra·Lock is a self-braking hydraulic gear motor
The Hydra·Lock is a self-braking hydraulic gear motor. This motor is engineered and designed to "self-brake", meaning the motor alone will not wind backwards or forwards without the user operating a switch. With existing live hydraulics, the Hydra·Lock hydraulic gear motor delivers horsepower and torque comparable to the manufacturer's Super Duty II electric gear motor, using only 5 gpm at 2000 psi. The Hydra Lock motor is available with the company's tarp systems for either waste applications or general end dump applications.
