Hydrostripper

The Hydrostripper™ system consists of the following major components: an ultra-high pressure pump delivers water to the cleaning assembly for blasting the reflective sheeting off, a gantry motion system follows the programmed cleaning pattern, and a vacuum system collects the sheeting particles and deposits them into a storage hopper. The operator starts the process by selecting a program from the control panel. The control system holds different programs for various sign shapes and sizes. Then the signs are placed on the work surface and the gantry system is activated. The ultra-high pressure pump pressurizes the rotating spray bar within the cleaning head and the waterjet streams blast the reflective sheeting into small fragments, leaving the surface clean and smooth.

The vacuum collection system draws the small sheeting particles into a container and the excess water is filtered and recycled for additional use. Analysis of the solids allows for environmentally safe, non-hazardous disposal.
