Membrane System Product Line

Koch Membrane Systems manufactures membranes for microfiltration and ultrafiltration and supplies equipment for all four separation processes (MF, UF, RO and ED).

Sprial membranes are produced by winding consecutive layers of feed spacer, membrane, permeate collection channel, and membrane around a perforated center tube for permeate collection.

Tubes consist of a membrane cast on the inside of a support tube, ½-in. to one-in. diameter. The one-in. tube is used singly, and the ½-in. tubes are bundled into modules.

Hollow fibers are anisotropic (asymmetric). The self-supporting membrane can be backflushed to maximize the efficiency of the crossflow filtration process.
