The Net Tech, for stormwater treatment, is a versatile device that can be fitted to outfalls to retain trash and debris in a wide variety of situations. Net Techs have been fitted in beach, river, canal and creek situations. The Net Tech is easily installed and requires no structural changes to the existing stormwater system. The device can be fitted close to specific areas that have been identified as "hotspots" within a catchment, negating the need for large structural treatments downstream. The Net Tech G.P.I. is especially suitable for monitoring and educational purposes as the device is clearly visible, making the evaluation of both the quantity and composition of the intercepted litter an easy task.

The Net Tech is a patented, compact, efficient and cost effective solution to the problem of stormwater-borne gross pollutants. This device can be fixed to the head wall or outfall with little or no site development or civil engineering. In the event of the net component becoming fouled with intercepted solids, the net component detaches and travels a short distance downstream (typically less than three feet) until the net component chokes off on a short tether, allowing the pipe to flow normally.

The net component can be built to accommodate various flow rates and volumes of intercepted litter. The net component is removed by truck or boat mounted crane for emptying.
