NoBel vitrified clay pipe is renowned for it's ease of installation, rigidity and long term corrosion resistance
NoBel vitrified clay pipe is renowned for it's ease of installation, rigidity and long term corrosion resistance. NoBel pipe is especially suited for gravity sanitary sewer installations exceeds the requirements of ASTM C 301, ASTM C 425 and ASTM C 700.

The design of the NoBel joint eliminates the need for digging bell holes as required for the CanOLok vitrified clay pipe.

NoBel's joint consists of a molded polyurethane joint attached to the spigot end and a pvc collar which is shrunk and rigidly fit and sealed to the socket end of the rigid vitrified clay pipe barrel.

The flexible collar is supported by the rigidity of the VCP barrel which eliminates the potential for collapsed lines often occurring with flexible pipe materials.

The polyurethane is precisely cast through a precision molding process. The compressible polyurethane acts as the sealing mechanism and provides a contractor friendly easy to install joint.

Performance testing of all gravity pipe installations are recommended. For VCP these test are recommended to conform to ASTM C 828, "Standard Test Method for Low Pressure Air Testing of Vitrified Clay Lines".
