Non-Metallic Coupling Guard

The ClearGuard Non-Metallic Coupling Guard permits the visual inspection of coupling components while protecting personnel from the potential safety hazards of rotating parts.

Constructed of polycarbonate with ultraviolet light inhibitors, the product is non-sparking, corrosion-resistant and paint-free for safety, appearance and sanitation. Vented for adequate air circulation, the device is available with all Mark III ANSI pumps with NEMA or IEC motors and Chemstar ISO pumps with IEC motors.

The guard's clear material is tinted yellow to alert personnel to a potential hazard. It also permits the use of a strobe light to accurately measure shaft rotation speed. Nothing larger than 6mm (0.24 in) can enter into the shell per ISO standard.
