The manufacturer recognizes that many local authorities and companies may prefer to develop their own internal training courses to address their specific needs. To assist companies to do this, they have now released their erosion and sediment control photo library on CD-ROM. All the images have been scanned as 800x600 pixel JPEGs and 256 color TIFF files. This formatting gives users the option to choose the best color resolution for their company's data projector. These files are small enough to allow quick loading by most computers, without sacrificing necessary photographic detail. Additional features include:
•Over 600 images scanned to 24-bit color JPEG and 256 color TIFF formats
•All TIFF format images imported into a series of PowerPoint files to allow for a quick visual review of the images, and to cut and paste these images into individual PowerPoint file
•Copies of the text files used in the erosion and sediment control training CD-ROM
•JPEG files are also suitable for use as screen savers on 800x600 pixel screens
