The PortaBurst system is designed to install pipe up to 6-in.-dia. The complete package (winch, tool, and burst head), is well suited for lateral replacement, line replacement under buildings, or anywhere that conditions require a small, powerful system that can be set up by hand.
Completely pneumatic, the PortaWinch can be stake-mounted for tight conditions inside buildings, manhole-mounted to eliminate a receiving pit, or cage-mounted for street and yard work. Cable capacity allows burst up to 100 ft. in length.
The PortaBurst system uses HAMMERHEAD MOLE bursting tools. These tools, when not in use with the system, can be used to install new services such as electric, cable, phone, and water lines under streets, sidewalks, driveways, and landscapes.
