The Orbeco-Hellige Model 966 portable turbidimeter measures the turbidity of water, wastewater of process fluids over 3 ranges: 0-20, 0-200, 0-1000 NTU. Resolution is 0.01 NTU in the 0-20 range. The instrument meets design requirements of USEPA Method 180.1 for NPDES and NPDWR compliance reporting, and specifications of ASTM, Standard Methods of APHA, AWWA and WEF.

With its simple one button operation, no prior training is necessary. It operates on 4 AA batteries providing 700+ tests. It is hand held and weighs only 1 lb., 3 oz. A direct-reading digital display, automatic decimal shift and low-battery signal are features and an automatic shut-off conserves battery life. Optional AC adaptors for 110 or 220 volt operation are available.

The turbidimeter is factory standardized, and there is an easy calibration check to conform with USEPA requirements. Permanent USEPA accepted primary standards are supplied.
