EMCO - Engineering Measurements Companyot water, chilled water and condensate flows, the Hydro-Flow Model 3100 retractable insertion flowmeter incorporates a hot, tappable, retractable sensor. This meter can be installed and removed under full flow conditions and uses proven vortex technology. Featuring no moving parts and a 30:1 turndown ratio, the system can be used to measure seasonal fluctuations in flow associated with HVAC and other water applications. It is available in line sizes from 3 to 20 in., and its' microprocessor electronics can measure flow as low as 0.5 ft./sec.
