Round Meter Boxes

Uponor ETIng two molded flanges at the top and bottom of the meter box, the company's round meter box features a white interior to ease meter reading and a black exterior to inhibit UV degradation and allow outside storage. An anti-settling flange molded to the bottom of the meter box is designed to retard settling and sinking in soft soils while providing a stable, even platform for the setting. The top flange offers a wide and even seating surface for the cover to minimize encroachment into the setting. A patented Thermo-pak insulating pad can be added to allow the unit to be used in applications where freezing problems may occur. A locating ring is molded to the upper part of the meter boxes and enables the insulation to be dropped to the top of the box.

These lightweight units have a solid wall thickness of more than .550 in., and are designed to accept vertical loads in excess of 20,000 lb freestanding. Sizes range from 15-to 36-in. diameter and to 48 in. deep, and 20-in. diameter boxes are available to 72 in. deep.
