Screen Cleaning System

N/Ast screen cleaning system features a pressurized air source, an air receiver or accumulator, an air release valve, and a line connecting the air receiver to N/Ast screen cleaning piping within the screen. Receiver and connecting line size are defined by the size of the screen, the distance from the screen to the receiver, and the submergence of the screen at design high water. The size of the valve is defined by the line size, and the size of the pressurized air source – usually a dedicated compressor – is defined by the frequency that screen cleaning is desired or a convenient recharge time.

This product is designed to minimize the accumulation of debris. Air burst screen cleaning is designed to be simple, reliable, effective, and quick. Timer-based automatic controls and automatic actuators can be used to open and close the valves. Additional features include an alternator and dual compressors that can be used to provide a backup system, automatic circuitry for use on multiple valve, multiple screen systems and a remote signal input that can be used to start a cleaning cycle. Information can be supplied to a dry contact to provide status and condition information to a remote location.
