Magnatex® Pumps, Inc.r safe, efficient handling of noxious, corrosive or toxic process fluids, the sealless, mag-drive pumps feature replaceable shaft sleeves, slip-sit construction and fully drainable pump and rear casings. The unit requires no special tools for disassembly, and has "no-slip", rare earth magnets for synchronous drive and a low internal heat, allowing for prolonged life and reduced maintenance intervals. Close-coupled, sub-ANSI and Group I ANSI designs up to 20 HP are engineered to eliminate alignment problems and save space, and product-lubricated silicon carbide pump bearings require no upkeep or additional lubrication. Models are available that conform to ANSI B73.1 dimensions. Additional product features include:
• straddle-mounted, double-bearing design
• large flow path to handle solids up to 8% by weight
• flows to 2,000 GPM
• heads to 470 ft
• temperatures to 750°F
