Hi-Tech Environmental, Inc.iral blade clarifiers are designed to increase sludge transport and return sludge concentrations. The tip speed of 15-20 fpm, rather than the conventional speed of 8-10 fpm, decreases the sludge blanket depth. The increased blade depth of the clarifier is designed to reduce slippage.
In large diameter clarifier basins (greater than 100 ft), a dual blade configuration is offered. This design incorporates the blade angle and depth, and tip speeds.
