Steel Tank Institute allow engineers, contractors and end-users to develop accurate, complete, protected storage tank specifications, the company's Fireguard QuickSpec 4.0 is an interactive CD-ROM software program. Users select desired stored product, capacity, dispensing, fill and monitoring equipment from the menus, and the system generates a customized, editable specification, including either US or Canadian fire code references and values. The program also provides an editable working sketch showing the choices selected, and includes references such as state or provincial code requirements, equipment listings, and glossary. The aboveground storage tank technology meets all UL-142 and ULC-S655 test requirements.
