This high-performance polyamide epoxy contains 70% solids by volume, and is within the EPA's VOC guidelines with an emission of 2.0 lb./gal. Epoxide HS offers a defense against corrosion attack in the immersion service environments of potable water storage tanks. The coating's multifunctional epoxy chemistry permits crosslink density for the formation of a hard, tough film that is acid and alkali resistant. The coating forms a bond to numerous substrates, including steel and concrete, and is compatible with both impressed current and galvanic cathodic protection systems.
