The FloStop II hot/wet tapping and line stopping system utilizes cylindrical rubber sealing elements or pivoting line stop heads. Line stops can be performed on 4-in.-12-in. lines with pressures up to 250 psi. The system, which meets or exceeds most water/wastewater/natural gas industry requirements and specifications, allows users to perform maintenance and repairs without shutting down pipelines or customers.
The tapping machines are designed to be easy to use and operate by air or hydraulic power. The units are quickly assembled with the proper size tapping adapter, and pilot drill for easy manual positioning on the tapping valve. MJ wet taps can be performed by adding MJ tapping adapters and accessories.
