Magnatex® Pumps, Inc.igh-head pumping applications can use the MPT series regenerative turbine vane pump, a close-coupled, magnetically driven, sealless unit featuring a turbine vane impeller and rare earth Neodymium magnets. These magnets are included for synchronous drive with no slippage and low internal heat, and the close-coupled design eliminates alignment problems. The pump is said to require less horsepower than competitive pumps while providing high pump hydraulics at low flow rates. Additional features include NPT threaded pipe connections or 150# RF flanges, maximum 340 ft TDH, pressures to 150 psig, speeds of 1800 and 3600 rpm, flows to 18 gpm, and a steep head curve for system pressure swings with small change in flow.
The system is capable of handling applications in the water, chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, refinery, pulp and paper, textile, and power generation industries.
