Colbond Geosyntheticsf reinforcement is a three-dimensional nylon matrix joined at the intersections. This geomatrix is 95% open space, minimizing erosion control by reinforcing plant roots. It is said to be able to withstand velocities greater than 20 ft/sec and has no buoyancy factor. The product can be used on slopes, banks, ditches, channels, spillways, shorelines, and other erosion prone areas. Its is designed to include a high shear resistance, large area holding capacity, high compression resistance, and the ability to conform to any surface or soil profile.
