The Alpha 2000 is an ultrasonic clamp-on flowmeter consisting of a transmit/receive sensor, transmitter electronics, and an electronic processing unit.
The ultrasonic sound waves are coupled from the sensor through the pipe walls, and are reflected off the particles in the fluid and back through the pipe walls to the sensor.
The product will measure the flow of liquids that contain a small continuing quantity of entrained air or solids.
