AMETEK Drexelbrookl of the autoprofiling continuous level transmitter features a SealTyte sensor that prevents fugitive emissions from escaping through the level measurement connection in the vessel. SealTyte sensors are hermetically sealed between the flange and the sensor insulation to prevent hazardous gases or liquids, including osmotic products, from escaping into the environment or corroding the structural metal of the vessel. The sensor insulation materials eliminate the need for exotic materials, even when used for corrosive service. The construction of these SealTyte sensors also makes them ideal for sanitary service in the food and pharmaceutical industries. The proprietary auto-profiling option of the transmitter allow the unit to ignore sonic echoes caused by anything other than the actual liquid level. It does this automatically, without complicated mapping procedures.
