Preco Electronics, Inc. , four-in. 40-serires Bac-a-larm is designed to fit any 40-series round hole and requires no tools for installation. It utilizes the industry standard rubber grommet and two or three pronged pigtail used in 40-series stop, tail and turn lamps. This logical mounting application allows the alarm to be out of the way of road debris, slat and mud. The system is voltage spike protected and can work in positive or negative ground systems. It is suited for class 8 heavy-duty vehicles as well as light-duty applications requiring a compact profile. The urethane-filled housing is engineered to protect the alarm from moisture, dust and vibration. The product is available in kit form, including the alarm, grommet and pigtail.
