Vortex Flowmeters

The Hydro-Flow model 2200 flowmeter uses vortex technology to measure flow. The fixed insertion is a well-suited solution for monitoring of general water, water/glycol mixtures, and condensate. Pipe connections include brass tee fitting, carbon steel thread-o-let, or saddle 1 ½ in. NPT.

These flowmeters feature no moving parts, which, according to the manufacturer, helps to provide lower maintenance, lower total cost of ownership and eliminates the possibility of fluid contamination. The microprocessor based electronics and piezo-resistive sensor helps ensure high accuracy at low flows (as low as 0.5 ft/sec) with a 30:1 turndown. In line sizes are from 2 in. to 20 in.
