Hennessy House's wooden flagpoles are designed for applications where aluminum or fiberglass poles are incongruous with traditional grounds or settings.
The poles are made from vertical grain Douglas fir trees and are constructed square-to-octagon-to-tapered round. The laminated tapered stave pole construction results in a pole that is lighter in weight than the old solid poles and is said to yield great axial tensile strength.
