Workforce Management Module

This new feature module, Estimated Time to Travel (ETT), is within M3i's Workforce Management System (WFMS) product family. The ETT module is designed to add economic and operations efficiency value to the dispatch operations of WFMS customers around the world.

The module utilizes user configurable algorithms and work order data to calculate travel time between work sites. The WFMS then uses this information to sequence jobs optimally, based on a number of parameters including the estimated travel time between work assignments. The ETT module provides specific route information in a clear read-out on the mobile data screens for technicians/crews to follow.

The fundamental value of the module is most apparent in a dynamic dispatch environment where route optimization is a continuous real time requirement. When emergencies and/or other unforeseen contingencies arise, this ‘intelligent' module can dynamically reassign work orders and recalculate the optimum dispatch solution. The application can operate, depending on a customer's specific set of requirements, as a fully functional stand-alone module.

ETT can operate in conjunction with SkyView, one of the many modules of the M3i WFMS. When ETT linkage between SkyView is established, dispatchers and mobile crews have instant access to a vectored land based data image allowing for accurate vehicle tracking in real-time.
