ACS Industries, Inc. is the originator of the American Coupler System and complementary attachments, and was the first to popularize the notion of “changeover technology” in the United States. The ACS quick coupler system for wheel loaders was introduced in 1968. The company has since become a leading manufacturer of attachments for wheel loaders, loader-backhoes, excavators, motor graders and dozers. ACS takes an "application/solution” approach to marketing its couplers and attachments.
Says Joe Zeno, President of ACS, “Mann and Progressive Attachments are excellent additions to our excavator and dozer product offerings. We will also be gaining high quality, professional staff in Washington to assist us in better serving all of our customers. Our collective mission will be directed to not only the importance of attachment systems matched to the job, but to each other for maximum productivity and on-the-job safety.”
With combined resources, the companies will continue to focus corporate energies on research and development as an ongoing aspect of its corporate culture while aggressively marketing products through a comprehensive distributor network that spans North America. The Companies will also continue to sell and market to original equipment manufacturers who in turn re-market to their own worldwide networks. Equipment buyers can specify any of the ACS/Mann/PAC couplers and attachments for new equipment purchases, or retrofit existing vehicles already in the fleet.
