AZUR EnvironmentalUV, a portable ultraviolet absorption analyzer, is for measuring water quality in raw sewage, treated, processed or natural water. Working in the 200-350 nm spectral range, it requires less than one minute to provide a readout of six key water quality parameters including chemical and biological oxygen demand, total suspended solids, TOC and nitrate level. Its applications include measurement of organic or particulate pollution, accidental pollution monitoring, conformity testing of effluent releases into the environment and process control.
