The L/D Airport Spreader combines liquid and dry deicing and anit-icing chemicals in one application
The L/D Airport Spreader, featured at the APWA Exposition in Las Vegas, combines liquid and dry deicing and anti-icing chemicals in one application. Granular material is uniformly pre-wetted immediately prior to application. Aircraft-safe granular materials, such as pelletized urea, are said to become wind-resistant when pre-wetted.
Liquid and granular application is controlled by a control point system, giving the user fully automatic control within the FAA-recommended rates.
