These WALKING FLOOR unloaders and conveyors are made up of aluminum floor slats that extend the length of the trailer or bunker floor. The hydraulically powered slats move in a four-phase cycle. While moving, the floor slats remain horizontal, moving in a forward to backward stroke. The system is designed to safely and efficiently transfer bulk or palletized materials out o the trailer or down the conveyor.
Power for this system can be provided by a tractor mounted PTO and hydraulic pump. With the unit, a 45-ft. trailer can be unloaded in as fast as three minutes. Variable speed option and reverse direction are available. An electric powered hydraulic pump usually drives the bin and bunker conveying systems.
