The Readypower RP-1500 is a plug-n-play backup power product specifically designed for small electrical equipment loads where high reliability is important. Typical loads for this product include refrigerators, well pumps, microwaves, lights, radios, communications equipment, television, computer and printer, power tools, and anything else that uses less than 1500 watts of 120v power.
To use, insert the AC plug into any AC outlet, connect up the DC batteries to the DC battery cables provided, and plug in appliance or extension cord into the built-in AC GFI duplex receptacle. When the utility power fails, the DR inverter instantly switches to battery backup power. When the utility power is restored, the product automatically recharges the batteries.
