Biomatrix Gold™ is a natural absorbent made from sphagnum moss... a made to order natural solution for environmental spills. 100% organic, lab-tested, field proven, light weight... economical, efficient, non-abrasive, non-toxic, non-leaching. In its dry form it absorbs approx 10 times its own weight in hydrocarbons--- and then rapidly turns these pollutants into natural by-products. It suppresses vapours and will not absorb water.

Biomatrix Gold™ absorbs and encapsulates on contact: Oils, solvents, heavy metals, pesticides, herbicides, organic chemicals, PCB's, blood, dyes, vegetable oils. Ideal for water clean-ups and waste wash filtration. For land spills, water clean-ups, waste wash filtration. High vapour suppression (up to 90% for gasoline) greatly eliminates explosions.

Using Biomatrix Gold as a fill material, highly effective tools are created in various sizes. Docks, pads, brooms and bilge guards for use in spill kit and other applications.

Disposal Options

1. Landfill: According to local regulations.
2. Incinerate: Generates 7-9000 BTU's per pound. Creates little ash.
3. Landfarm: Will not biodegrade, but will bioremediate oils.

Reduces waste stream disposal by about 19 pounds per gallon compared to clay and earth materials.
