Compression Connectors

A-LOK Products, Inc.ok is a connector designed to produce a positive watertight connection for pipes entering precast manholes and other concrete structures. The rubber connector is compounded from a polyisoprene blend. There are different models available.

The X-CEL connector features the water-pocket, which is said to increase the sealing pressure on the pipe through greater hydrostatic pressure on the connector. This allows for deeper installations and greater deflection of flexible and semi-flexible pipe materials, without the loss of the seal.

The STM Connector is a flexible gasket that is designed to provide a soiltight seal, as well as a watertight connection for round and elliptical pipe entering precast concrete manholes, catch basins, and other concrete storm structures. The gasket functions on pure compression and is engineered to withstand up to 6 psi of hydrostatic pressure, which converts to 13.80 feet of depth.

Inserta-Lok connector can be used either a precision cast or cored opening as a mainline connector for new construction, a retrofit or a tie-in on existing structures. Pure compression is utilized to create the required pressure to seal both surfaces between connector and structure wall, and connector and outside pipe barrel diameter.
