Curbside Book Return

The KINGSLEY 0310 Curbside Book Return is the largest on the market. It provides fast, convenient 24/7 return access for all your patrons including the handicapped and the elderly. Constructed out of 18 gauge heavy duty zinc plated steel (giving excellent resistance to rust) - riveted and heliarc welded - it is ruggedly reinforced throughout with channels, beams, gussets and braces. Baffles prevent books from being "fished out". The self-closing book door is 20" x 7" (50.8 cm x 17.7 cm) and is hooded to help keep out inclement weather. The book door automatically locks when cart is full to prevent cart overflowing. Return designed for drive-up or walk-up use. When book door is locked (lock supplied), a decal informs patrons to return library items inside. The exclusive fire deterrent chute diverts unwanted materials - cigarettes, matches, liquids into a removable tray away from the books. The double thick lockable book cart door (specify right or left side) is double reinforced with an improved stainless steel resettable pushbutton combination lock and 3-point latch for added security. Return is painted with tough automotive EPA approved polyurethane (tough up paint included). The sloping top discourages stacking or sitting books on top.
