The JC40 box is designed to enhance safety, minimize excavation, and allow better control over adjacent soils and structures. The mechanical strut ranges in length from 3 ft. to 13 ft. with up to 18 in. of mechanical adjustment. The struts have pinned ends that function like a hinge. This allows the box to be stepped down into the excavation in a simple "dig and push" process, one side at a time. These features help minimize digging and give greater control over adjacent soils and structures.
