The JT2720 All Terrain uses a patented, exclusive mechanical dual drive drilling system. The self-contained 27,000-pound (120 kN) pullback model permits effective drilling and steering through solid and broken rock, cobble, and gravel, and other difficult conditions without a mud motor or auxiliary fluid system.

The All Terrain mechanical, dual-drive drilling system employs an inner rod to drive a rock bit. An outer pipe steers the downhole tool while drilling pilot holes and provides rotary torque for the hole opener during backreaming. The mechanical drilling system delivers maximum downhole horsepower and operates on low volumes of drilling fluid. The small footprint of the compact drilling unit permits set up in small areas. In addition to rock drilling, an All Terrain unit is productive in almost all types of soils.

Features:

• Exclusive drill frame angle adjustment allows setup at any angle without raising tracks off the ground
• Tethered ground drive controller allows one-person loading and unloading
• Rubber tracks allow easy transport and cause minimal damage to lawns, landscapes, curbs and pavement
