EI65 Operators Aid/Indicator

The EI 65 system was developed in response to the needs of the crane owners who wish to improve the efficiency and productivity of their operations. Its large LCD displays load, boom length, boom angle, radius, tip height, hoist selection and parts of line. With this data and the crane's working load chart, the operator has the information needed to make lifts within the crane's operating limits. The system incorporates the PAT Anti-TwoBlock module, to alert the operator in case of an impending two-block condition.

The EI 65 system permits the operator to pre-set limits on load and geometric variables. When any of these limits are reached, the system warns the operator with an audible alarm and a warning light. These features provide the operator with additional information while working in areas of limited headroom or proximity to buildings, utility lines, etc. The system includes an external relay which activates in the event of an impending two-block condition, or when the operator setable load or radius limits have been exceeded. This can be used to activate a function control lockout system.

The EI 65 was designed to be installed quickly and easily on all types and sizes of hydraulic or lattice boom cranes.

The PAT EI 65 meets SAE J375, J376 Corps of Engineers and Cal-OSHA standards for load indicators.
