Flange Mounted Fan

Coppus Ventilation / Tuthill Corporationn steam or compressed air, the CP-20 portable flange mounted tubeaxial fan is a powerful 11,200 cfm turbine unit (steam must be clean and dry). Identical inlet and outlet flanges allow the unit to be positioned for use as a blower or exhauster. This large volume air mover is designed to limit downtime in preparing large enclosed areas for inspection or maintenance work, as well as speed up turnaround. In additon, the turbine drive conserves energy.

The unit is designed specifically for fast, thorough degassing, ventilating or cooling of large process vessels such as fractionators, stills, towers, reactors, scrubbers, furnaces and storage tanks. It is effective in clearing the air during sandblasting operations by improving worker visibility. The turbine drive makes it ideal for use in hazardous areas or locations where electricity is not available.

Design Features:
• "Flip-flop" design. Fits 20 in. API tank openings.
• Six bladed axial flow propeller fan is cast aluminum.
• Inlet and outlet casings are cast aluminum.
• Inlet and outlet screens meet OSHA requirements.
• Stainless steel turbine buckets are inserted into a machined mounting ring.
• Fan assembly rotates on grease sealed ball bearings.
• Two-nozzle design permits operational pressures of 40 to 150 psig.
• Convenient handles are cast into aluminum fan casing - unit can be carried or rolled to job site.
• Lightweight, portable, 122 lb.
