Grading/Leveling Equipment

Combining laser and computer technology, the S-240 Laser Screed produces slab-on-grade concrete floors. This ride-on machine sets the grade using a laser and disperses concrete by auger, then vibrates and consolidates the concrete. A console-mounted computer monitors and maintains the grade using a laser, and monitors the screed elevation at a rate of five times per second. A self-leveling, 12-ft wide screeding head mounted on a 20-ft telescopic boom provides 240 ft² of concrete per pass, which is said to be leveled and consolidated in under a minute. Another feature of this unit is an integral plow and auger that automatically remove excess concrete during screeding.
