High-modulus Woven Polyester

Huesker Inc.takes long term, high tensile forces at low rates of strain. It is used in many applications requiring soil reinforced earth structures, where a low degree of deformation is required. Another application is the reinforcement of mineral sealing layers in landfill construction.

This product increases the subsoil bearing capacity; thus embankments can be built on soft ground. It can also be used for stabilizing breakwaters and jetties. This polyester is manufactured in different qualities with varying strengths. The strain break is around 10% and under a permanent load of 50% max. tensile strength. Creep strain is 1% after two years.
