•Spring application - encapsulates chains and spreader boxes for protection from rain, dew and the elements
•Dries to a flexible polymer skin, blocking out oxygen needed for rusting and corrosion
•Soil contamination reduced because it does not wash off into the soil underneath spreaders
•Fall application - during operation, plates chain pinion linkage like a "million ball bearings," greatly extending chain life
•Salt domes - eliminates frustration of frozen conveyor chains
