The reinforced soil system consists of polymer geotextiles
Huesker Inc.ced soil system consists of polymer geotextiles arranged in a soil structure in a manner designed to resist movement of Huesker Inc.ced soil mass. The technique enables stable embankments to be constructed over weak foundation soils and permits the construction of steep slopes and retaining walls. The system offers safety factors and site flexibility.

Geotextiles are composed of woven or knitted high-tenacity polyester yarn. Polyester provides creep resistance and high tensile modulus. Other features include:

•Absorbs tension at low strain because its high-tenacity polyester yarns are placed in a linear manner. This allows immediate soil-to-geotextile load transfer. This transfer provides the tensile strength required in the soil structures.
•High specific gravity makes it easy to install on land or under water.
•Geotextiles exhibit soil interaction and cross-plane permeability.
•Can be produced to exact engineering or contractor specifications.
