The integrated cashiering and document imaging system provided by AmCad is installed in County Recorder's Offices. The Land Information System is an integrated and comprehensive business application for County Recorders that addresses each phase of the recording process.

LIS provides the capability to electronically capture all of the aspects of the operation of a Recorder's Office, including cashiering, scanning, data entry, quality assurance, administrative reports and public access.

The AmCad system design provides the flexibility to customize the unique operations requirements that may vary from one recorder's office to another.

A powerful, yet simple to use, graphical interface allows users to quickly utilize the system. Experienced employees can realize a significant increase in productivity. New employees can be easily trained. Public Access users can do more work in less time than with current systems.

Technical Architecture
LIS is built on open systems, client server architecture. Workstations use Windows NT client in an NT server environment. The database is MS SQL Server. All Microsoft Office solutions are integrated into the solution. Other open system servers and databases are also supported.
