The MVC Series Medium Voltage Soft Starter, exhibited at the WEFTEC Conference, features a heavy-duty design with "real world" packaging suited to control pump motors as well as other medium voltage motor applications.

The digital controller provides solid state overload and other features for the motor and the soft starter. It also features a firing circuit using the "ring transformer" isolation. A load/break fault make disconnect switch with door safety interlocking mechanism, in-line isolation vacuum contactor sized for across-the-line motor starting and a bypass vacuum contactor are standard on all models.
