Membrana-Charlotte Signs Agreement With Layne Christensen Company To Test VOC And Radon Removal In Large-Flow Municipal Water Applications

Membrana-Charlotte, a division of Celgard, LLC of Charlotte, North Carolina is pleased to announce that it has finalized an agreement with Kansas-based Layne Christensen Company. The companies will work exclusively together to evaluate the use of Liqui-Cel Membrane Contactors for Radon and VOC removal in the municipal market segment in the continental United States. The target Membrana products are Liqui-Cel 10 x 28 and 14 x 28 Membrane Contactors for flows greater than 30gpm.

Layne Christensen has excellent distribution networks set up for this application and market. “We are excited about solidifying this partnership with Layne Christensen and believe they command a significant market presence that will allow us to further expand our application base in the municipal sector” states Allen Pittman, VP and Business Manager for Liqui-Cel Membrane Contactors.
