Plastic Steel metal-filled epoxies are designed for use in
Plastic Steel metal-filled epoxies are designed for use in an array of industrial maintenance, production, repair, and tooling applications. These epoxies are applied by plant personnel without special training and cure at room temperature. They provide resistance to a range of chemicals and temperatures to 250°F.

Plastic Steel putty bonds to most metals, concrete and some plastics. It provides resistance to oil, gasoline, water, and many aqueous chemicals in industrial settings. It can be drilled, tapped, machined, or painted and is well suited for patching and repairing areas where welding or brazing would be undesirable or impossible.

For applications that require rapid curing, Plastic Steel 5-Minute putty hardens in just 5 minutes. According to the manufacturer, it can be mixed and applied easily and will cure at temperatures as low as 40°F.

Plastic Steel liquid is a steel-filled liquid epoxy that can be cast over models for detail reproduction when making holding fixtures, light-gauge forming dies, and molds. Its low viscosity, high compressive strength, and machinability to close tolerances make it a good leveling compound for industrial equipment and machinery.

These products cure to a dark grey finish. The putty and liquid are available in 1, 4, and 25-lb. containers. The 5-minute putty is available in 1-lb. containers.
