Industrial Scientific Corp.company%> MDU420 dual-range methane monitor is the portable instrument for monitoring the percentage volume concentrations of methane found in landfill wells and for detecting the low percentage of LEL concentrations of gas which may exist in perimeter fence line probes.
The MDU420 utilizes an infrared detector which measures methane gas concentrations on two scales with a single sensor. The detector also allows methane measurements in oxygen free environments without interference from other landfill gases, such as hydrogen sulfide or carbon dioxide.
